Frequently Asked Questions

What is a home warranty?

A home warranty is a one year service contract, which helps protect homeowners against the cost of unexpected repair or replacement of major systems and appliances that break down due to normal wear and tear.

My home's system and appliances are old. Does that matter?

No, the age of a home or its systems and appliances does not affect your Complete Care Home Warranty policy. We cover items that are in good working condition at the time of your plan’s purchase. We cover all makes and models of systems and appliances.

Do you need to send someone out to inspect my home systems and appliances?

No, Complete Care Home Warranty does not require a home inspection to purchase a protection plan.

Is there a limit to the number of claims I can place?

No. With a Complete Care Home Warranty Policy, there is no limit to the amount of claims you can place with us!

I have Homeowners insurance, why do I need a home warranty?

Your homeowners insurance is hazard insurance that covers items damaged by fires, water, wind and other such events. A home warranty repairs items that break down on their own through normal wear and tear.

Can I transfer my policy to a new homeowner?

If your covered property is sold during the term of your contract, you can easily transfer the policy over to the new homeowner. There is no fee for transferring your policy. Simply give us a call at 1-860-777-0204 and submit the name of the new owner.
